Church offers two different services

Cherry Tree Alliance Church, 640 Cherry Tree Lane, Uniontown, across from Uniontown Wal-Mart, on Sunday will feature a blended contemporary service at 8:30 a.m. and a blended traditional service at 10 a.m. In both services, the Rev. Jack Herman will continue the series “The Greatest True Story in All of History,’ looking at the message of the entire Bible. This week’s message will be “The Glory and Love of God as the Fuel of God’s Passion for the Nations: Responding to God’s Passion as God’s People to Accomplish God’s Purposes in God’s World.’

Nursery care is provided for all church services.

At 6:30 p.m. Sunday, the men’s and women’s Small Groups will meet, and there will be PowerJAM, a service for teenagers, as well as Kids on a Mission for children ages three through fifth grade.

On Wednesday, there will be a prayer cell at 11 a.m. and at 6:30 p.m., there will be the Financial Peace University and Alliance Women. AWANA for children, nursery through eighth grade will also meet at 6:30 p.m. senior high cell groups meet throughout the week. GriefShare, a series of 13 weekly seminars/support groups for people grieving the death of someone close, will begin March 3 at 10 a.m. and will meet at the church.
