Richard A. Vegoda, 55, of Brownsville, Pa., died Wednesday, February 14, 2007. He was an employee for Shop-N-Save in Uniontown, Pa. and he worked for Clyde Mine as a roofbolter for 14 years until the mine closed.

Surviving are his wife, Sondra R. Biddle Vegoda; brother, Stephen Vegoda and Darlene Hickle of Brownsville, Pa.; sister-in-law, Judith Biddle of Brownsville; stepdaughter, Tracy Savona and husband, Joseph of Brownsville; stepsons, Terry Watson of Florida and Todd Watson and wife, Daneen of Belle Vernon, Pa.; eight grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and until 10 a.m. on Monday.
