Springhill Township fire
No injuries were reported when a fire broke out at a home on Blosser Hill Road in Springhill Township Thursday afternoon.
Point Marion firefighters said fire crews remained at the scene more than 3 hours after the fire began and said that the home was destroyed in the blaze. According to Fayette County 911, volunteer firefighters from Point Marion, Smithfield and Fairchance along with emergency personnel from Point Marion EMS responded to the 4:01 p.m. blaze.
