Bernice A. Cutwright, 81, of Uniontown, Pa., died on Wednesday, February 14, 2007. She was born on January 26, 1926, in Hopwood, Pa., daughter of the late Anthony and Agnes (Hajduk) Boskovitch.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence J. Cutwright, a sister, Dorothy Kolesar and brother-in-law, Joseph Kolesar.

Prior to her marriage, she was employed for 23 years in sales with G.C. Murphy company and later, in bookkeeping with Sol Sieff Produce.

A devoted daughter, wife and mother, she enjoyed making he home a special place for her family, whom she cherished above all else. She was a talented gardener, seamstress and baker.

She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Thompson and son-in-law, Paul of Alexandria, Virginia; and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, February 18, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 603 North Gallatin Avenue, Extension, Uniontown, Pa., and on Monday until 11 a.m. when Closing Prayers will be said, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:30 a.m. in Saint Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, Pa., with the Rev. Father Alexander L. Pleban as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.

Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American heart Association for which she volunteered for many years.

Saint Joseph Parish Family Vigil by the Ministry of Consolation will be held on Sunday at 3:15 p.m.
