Bernice A. Boskovitch Cutwright
Bernice A. Boskovitch Cutwright, age 81, of Uniontown, Pa., died on Wednesday, February 14, 2007. She was born on January 26, 1926, in Hopwood, Pa., the daughter of Anthony Boskovitch and Agnes (Hajduk) Boskovitch.
Prior to her marriage, she was employed for 23 years in sales with the G. C. Murphy Company and later in bookkeeping with Sol Sieff Produce both in Uniontown.
A devoted daughter, wife and mother, Bernice enjoyed making her home a special place for her family, whom she cherished above all else. She was a talented gardener, seamstress and baker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lawrence J. Cutwright, a sister, Dorothy Boskovitch Kolesar, and a brother-in-law, Joseph Kolesar.
She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Thompson, and son-in-law, Paul, of Alexandria, Virginia; and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Family and friends will be received today (Sunday, February 18) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., and on Monday, February 19, until 11 a.m. when Closing Prayers will be said.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 11:30 a.m. in Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Old Walnut Hill Road, Uniontown, Pa., with the Rev. Father Alexander L. Pleban as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association, for which she volunteered for many years.
Saint Joseph Parish Family Vigil by The Ministry of Consolation will be held today in the Funeral Home at 3:15 p.m.
