Richard Lee “Sharpy” Sharpnack
Richard Lee “Sharpy” Sharpnack, age 72, of Masontown, Pa., died Saturday, February 17, 2007, in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa. He was born February 1, 1935, in Ronco, Pa.
Richard worked as a coal miner for 30 years, served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the Faith-Gray-McArdle Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4584 in Masontown and the Masontown Fish and Game Club.
He was preceded in death by his Mother, Mildred Kaminski, and two Brothers, Kenny Sharpnack and Alan Stull.
Surviving are his Wife, Wilma; two Daughters: Brenda Wamsley and her husband, Ernie, of Masontown, Pa., and Cherie Zavage and her husband, Thomas, of Masontown, Pa.; a Son, Donald McKahan of Masontown, Pa.; four Grandchildren: Billie Jo Smith and her fianc?, Michael Williams, Christina Smith, Whitney Harvey and Paige L. Gray all of Masontown, Pa.; Sister, Shirley Caffery of Uniontown, Pa.; Brother, Jimmy Stull and his wife, Darlene, of Lambert, Pa.; and many beloved Nieces and Nephews.
Friends will be received in the BERNARD M. TOWNSEND FUNERAL HOME, 220 South Main Street, Masontown, Pa., on Monday, February 19, from 2 to 4 and 6 until 8 p.m. Funeral Service will begin at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Robert H. Lewis officiating.
