Store burglarized

Someone entered a generator room at the Fredericktown Butcher Shop between 6 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday, removing copper tubing, rolls of wire, assorted copper valves and other fixtures and a duffle bag full of tools. Also stolen were a screwdriver, pliers and socket sets. Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to contact the state police.

Woman charged

State police said Lorraine E. Adamson of Brownsville was charged with harassment and public drunkenness after she allegedly assaulted Patrick R. Marinelli of Brownsville at his Reliance Avenue residence at 6:35 a.m. Sunday.

Machine damaged

State police said someone damaged the lock on a vending machine at the Shop ‘N Save store at 10 Matthew Drive. The incident occurred between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. Saturday. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact state police.

Man jailed

Christopher Webb, 24, of Vandergrift was placed in Fayette County Prison on $20,000 straight cash bond after he allegedly assaulted Angela Marie Sabo, 32, of Cardale at a Railroad Street location at 4:40 p.m. Saturday, state police said. Police said Webb allegedly grabbed Sabo by the hair and threw her to the ground before punching her in the mouth.

Hit-and-run reported

State police said vehicles driven by Carol Daugherty, 49, no address given, and an unidentified driver collided on O’Connell Avenue at 3:25 p.m. Sunday. Police said the driver of the second vehicle fled after hitting Daugherty’s vehicle, breaking off the driver’s side mirror.

Man charged

State police said Salvatore Meloni of Adah was charged with public drunkenness following an incident at a Uniontown restaurant at 4:38 p.m. Sunday.

Uniontown police said Joseph S. Evans, 38, no address available, was cited for driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop on Cleveland Avenue at 8:06 a.m. Friday.

Purse stolen

Nancy Neil of 26 W. Kerr St. told Uniontown police that a man known to her entered her residence and stole her purse, which contained her identification, credit cards and debit card, at 4:20 p.m. Saturday, city police said, noting that Neil’s purse was later found. Neil, according to police, said she did not want to press charges against the man.

Man charged

Donald Walters of Uniontown was charged with public drunkenness after police were called about his behavior twice Saturday night, Uniontown police said.

Police said Walters allegedly caused a disturbance at a Penn Street location and was taken to his 24 Lincoln St. residence and advised that his citation would arrive in the mail. Police said they were called to Walters’ residence a second time later Saturday when Walters allegedly caused a disturbance outside his residence.

Walters was charged with public drunkenness and taken to the Uniontown Police Department following the second incident, police said.

Woman beaten

Uniontown police said officers responded to the A-Plus service station on Morgantown Street for a report of a man beating a woman inside a vehicle while parked in the parking lot. Police said the vehicle was gone on arrival but that the license plate number was obtained. The vehicle is registered to a Waynesburg man. Police said Waynesburg police were contacted to check on the welfare of the woman.

Vehicles collide

Uniontown police said two vehicles collided at the intersection of Morgantown and Berkeley streets at 5:50 p.m. Saturday. No serious injuries were reported, police said.

Man arrested

State police arrested Edward King Jr., 49, of Uniontown for driving under the influence of alcohol around 10:30 p.m. Friday. Police said he was driving on Bailey Avenue and Lincoln Street when he was pulled over for a traffic violation.

David A. Johnson, 31, of Uniontown was cited for harassment at 11:55 p.m. Saturday after he allegedly harassed his wife, Shushawna Johnson of Uniontown, Uniontown police said, noting that officers responded to the couple’s Walnut Street residence twice Saturday.

Hit-and-run reported

State police said an unknown driver hit into a vehicle driven by Colleen M. Bauer, 46, of Masontown on Route 166 around 4:40 p.m. Sunday and then fled the scene. Charles Bauer, 16, was a passenger in the vehicle, police said.

Accident reported

Lenora Barbush, 76, of Fairbank sustained minor injuries when the vehicle she was driving struck a tree along Tree Farm Road around 4 p.m. Saturday, state police said.

State police at Belle Vernon are investigating a break-in at the CoGos convenience store on Route 51. Police said cash was stolen from the convenience store between Sunday evening and 4 a.m. Monday.

Jeanette Holp of Uniontown told state police that her car was damaged while in the lot of the Hutchinson Sportsman Club between Saturday evening and Sunday morning, police said.

State police cited Tim Mattie of Hopwood for criminal mischief and harassment after a domestic dispute at 1220 National Pike at 4 a.m. Sunday. Police listed the alleged victim as Tammy Mattie of Hopwood.

Charges filed

Police have filed charges against the following individuals in unrelated incidents:

– Eric Barnhart, 21, of South Connellsville for trespassing after he allegedly entered North Manor apartment complex on Feb. 8. Police said that Barnhart is restricted from entering the property.

– Andrew Hardy, 22, of Dunbar with harassment after he allegedly struck an unidentified female during a Feb. 10 incident in the 500 block of East Francis Avenue.

– Alan D. Wingrove Jr., 31, of Connellsville with public drunkenness after he was allegedly found intoxicated and causing a disturbance Feb. 13 at the Highlands Hospital emergency room.

Investigations continue

Police are conducting investigations into the following unrelated incidents:

– A Feb. 8 criminal mischief when someone threw eggs on a vehicle parked in the 800 block of North Jefferson Street.

– A Feb. 8 criminal mischief when someone through a rock through the window of a residence located in the 100 block of West Crawford Avenue.

– A Feb. 13 criminal mischief when someone through a rock through the window of a residence located in the 200 block of Connell Avenue.

– A Feb. 10 retail theft when a white male with short dark hair pumped gas into a white Ford Explorer and then fled the Shop ‘n Save Express without paying the attendant.

– A Feb. 8 criminal mischief when someone threw eggs on two vehicles parked in the 700 block of South Arch Street.

– A Feb. 8 criminal mischief when someone threw eggs on a vehicle parked in the 900 block of Vine Street.

Parked vehicles hit

State police said a vehicle struck three parked cars on Memorial Boulevard around 2 a.m. Saturday. Police said they suspect the driver was intoxicated, but have not yet filed charges.

East Bethlehem Twp.

Warrant issued

State police said a warrant for the arrest of David Paul Garber, 22, of Greene County was issued after he failed to appear in Washington County court on drug charges. Police said the Greene County Parole and Probation department also want Garber in an unrelated matter. Anyone with information on Garber’s whereabouts is asked to call the state police at 724-223-5200.

Equipment damaged

State police said vandals damaged a bulldozer owned by Moore and Moore Excavating of Spraggs at a Construction site in Franklin Township between 5 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Monday.

Julie Kiger of Waynesburg suffered injuries when the vehicle she was driving collided with another vehicle on Mountain View Road at 2:40 p.m. Friday, state police said.

Man charged

Michael David Belderrain, 34, of Whitehall, Mont., was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct after an alleged altercation with Michael Bruno of Morgantown, W.Va., at a bar in Franklin Township at 1:55 a.m. Sunday.

Woman struck

State police said a Waynesburg man struck Shauna Kiger of Waynesburg during an argument at an apartment in Mountain View Gardens at 7:55 p.m. Saturday.

Man charged

Lance Derik Waddell, 33, of Marietta, Ga., was charged with receiving stolen property and carrying a firearm without a license after he was allegedly involved in a fight at a bar in Franklin Township at 2:30 a.m. Sunday. Police alleged Waddell was found with a pistol reported stolen in Kentucky. Waddell was placed in the Greene County Prison on $10,000 bond.

Two cited

State police said Amber Jane Reinhart, 24, of Jefferson and Christopher Michael Falor, 34, of Waynesburg were both cited for harassment after they allegedly struck each other during an argument in a vehicle on Route 21 at 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

Two injured

Vehicles driven by Tracey Stewart and Delbert Bell, both of Sycamore, collided on Ingram Hill Road at 2 p.m. Feb. 12, state police said.

North Union Twp.

Accident reported

James Rhoderick, 21, and Haley E. Pavlicko, 19, both of Uniontown, suffered minor injures in a two-vehicle accident on Route 51 at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, according to state police. Rhoderick was driving the car and Pavlicko was a passenger, police said. The driver of the other vehicle involved was Roy Kenneth McCracken, 35, and the passenger was listed as Gail McDonald, 56. Police did not list addresses for either.

Window broken

Robert Freeman of Rices Landing told state police that two juveniles broke a window at his home in Cumberland Township sometime Thursday.

Fight reported

State police said charges will be filed against a 34-year-old Waynesburg man after a fight at a business in Cumberland Township at 12:50 a.m. Sunday. Police said the man was stopped a short time after the incident when the vehicle he was driving struck two parked vehicles on New Side Road. Charges will also be filed for driving while under the influence of alcohol, according to police.

State police said no one was injured when a car driven by Bradley Corna of Murrysville crashed on Interstate 79 at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 13.

Tracy Lynn Fouch, 25, of Waynesburg was cited for harassment after an alleged altercation with Amber Gaskall, no address available, at an apartment in Mountain View Gardens last Wednesday.

Uniontown police said a pickup truck owned by Darren and Kelly Popovich of Uniontown, which was reported stolen Monday afternoon, was found on Collins Avenue at 8:40 p.m. Monday.

Nancy Fowler of Uniontown told city police that someone she knows picked up a prescription for pain medication from a Uniontown pharmacy without her authorization at 1:53 p.m. Monday.

Gideon Wilson, no address available, was charged with public drunkenness after he was allegedly discovered intoxicated at 155 N. Gallatin Ave. at 4:19 a.m. Monday, Uniontown police said. Officers had to use a TASER to subdue Wilson, police said.

Cars crash

Vehicles driven by Joseph Lechner of Potomac, Md., and Robert Davis, 67, of Markleysburg, crashed at the intersection of Route 40 and Route 281 at 8:55 a.m. Monday, state police said.
