Joseph F. Kotarsky
Joseph F. Kotarsky, “JFK”, 69, of Masontown, Pa., died Wednesday, February 21, 2007, in Mount Macrina Manor, Uniontown, Pa. He was born on January 3, 1938, in Marianna, Pa., the son of the late Joseph and Pauline (Bubash) Kotarsky Mongello.
After serving his country in the Navy in the Korean War, Joseph worked as the owner and operator of Ronco Manufacturing.
Left to cherish his memory, are his children: Laurie Lindsey of West Palm Beach, Florida, Joseph M. Kotarsky of Ronco, David V. Kotarsky and his wife, Kelly of McClellandtown, Christine A. Noah and husband, Loren of Atlanta, Georgia, and John A. Kotarsky of Masontown; brothers: Thomas Kotarsky of Penn Craft, Pa. and Robert Kotarsky and wife, Sharon of Uniontown; sister, Frances Listou and husband, Erik of Golden, Colorado; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH, JR. FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church and River Avenue, Masontown, Pa., today, February 24, from 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday until 10:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Leckrone, Pa., with the Rev. Father Donald P. Trexler as Celebrant.
Burial will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Leckrone, Pa. Military Rites will be accorded by the Masontown V.F.W. and the American Legion at graveside.
