Ashley Koliscak and Luke Carroll were united in marriage on Oct.14 at Fells United Methodist Church, Belle Vernon, with the Rev. Scott Berkley officiating. The bride is the daughter of Susan Koliscak of Belle Vernon and the granddaughter of Betty Horne and the late Edmund Horne. The bridegroom is the son of Hobie and Sandy Carroll of New Salem and the grandson of Paul and Lucille Carroll and the late Edward and Dorothea Sholtis.

The bride wore a strapless A-line gown with an attached cathedral train accented with seeded pearls and Swarovski crystals. Her elbow length veil was also accented with Swarovski crystals.

The maid of honor was Stephanie Baker, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Nikki Franks, Melanie Kraycar, Jessica Conner, Amber Fullmer, Tracy King, and Melissa Baumgardner.

Madelyn Velosky, cousin of the groom, was the flower girl.

The best man was Brett Carroll, brother of the groom. The groomsmen were Wally Velosky and Paul Gmutza, cousins of the bridegroom; Nick Caruso, Tim Derose, Mark Hahn and Thad Baumgardner. Tyler Sholtis, cousin of the groom, was the ring bearer.

A reception was held at the Willow Room in Belle Vernon.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Belle Vernon High School and received her doctorate of pharmacy from Duquesne University in 2005. She is employed with Walgreen’s as a pharmacy manager in Mauldin, S.C.

The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Uniontown Area High School and received his doctorate of pharmacy from Duquesne University in 2005. He is employed with Walgreen’s as a pharmacy manager in Greer, S.C.

The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia and reside in Simsonville, S.C.
