Linda Marie Neratka Johnston, age 72, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Friday, February 23, 2007. She was born on September 22, 1934, the daughter of Walter Neratka and Louise Paull Neratka.

Linda graduated from the now former Saint John The Evangelist High School, Jefferson Street, Uniontown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul T. Johnston, a sister, Florence Neratka Victor, and her parents.

She is survived by her children: Pamela M. Johnston and her life partner, Sherrie Franks, Paula A. Haragos and her husband, Robert Haragos, Thomas W. Johnston Sr. and his wife, Janet, and Valerie L. Johnston and her life partner, Marisa Johnston, all of Uniontown, Pa.; 12 grandchildren: Paulette Hair and her husband, Gilbert, Amy Klink and her husband, Mark, and Jessica Johnston and her fianc?, Kenneth “Duke” Smith, all of Uniontown, Pa., Jeffrey A. Thompson Jr. of Pittsburgh, Pa., Thomas W. Johnston Jr., Linda Bradee and her husband, Charles, Kristi Franks, Amber Johnston, Jacob Johnston, April Johnston, Alyssa Johnston, and Thadius “T. J.” Jones all of Uniontown, Pa.; 10 great-grandchildren: Richard Urick, Vanessa Bradee, Brittney Bradee, Brendan Klink, Ashton Klink, Austin Klink, Charles “C. J.” Bradee, Courtney Bradee, Tristan Klink and Caleb Smith; several nieces, nephews and cousins; a dog, Missy Sue; a cat, Tommy; and a bird, Polly.

Friends will be received in the DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, Uniontown, Pa., today (Sunday, February 25) from 2 to 4 p.m.

Friends are invited to join the family on Tuesday, February 27, at 2:30 p.m. at the CHAPEL of SYLVAN HEIGHTS CEMETERY, North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, for a Blessing Service. The Rev. Father Kenneth G. Zaccagnini, V.F., will officiate.

Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum, Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
