Ella T. Pusig Petrus, age 81, of Rostraver Township, Pa., and formerly of New Salem, Pa., died Saturday, February 24, 2007, in Mount Saint Macrina Manor, Uniontown, Pa. Born in Grindstone, Pa., on June 23, 1925, she was the daughter of Pietro Pusig and Emilia (Tramontina) Pusig.

Ella was a retired clerk who worked at the former Union Supply and also at the former Hill’s Department Store in Belle Vernon, Pa.

She was a member of The Church of Saint Anne in Rostraver Township and The Confraternity of Christian Mothers.

Ella was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald D. and Toni Petrus of Masontown, Pa.; two granddaughters: Leslie McLaughlin and her husband, Frank, and Rebecca Petrus; and a sister and brothers-in-law, Enes and George Shandor of Rostraver Township..

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in The Church of Saint Anne with her Pastor, the Rev. Father Ronald L. Simboli, as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
