Mark L. Gorka
Mark L. Gorka, age 49, of Masontown, Pa., passed away on Friday, December 29, 2006, in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa. He was born September 15, 1957, in Uniontown, Pa., the Son of Nancy I. (Stalnaker) Gorka.
Mark was a machinist at Vista Metals and his interests included all sports, but especially hockey and NASCAR.
He was predeceased by his Mother in 2004 and his Sister, Sheila R. (Gorka) Thumm, in 2000.
He is survived by his Wife, Michelle (Kelly) Gorka; his two Children: Jayme E. Gorka and Kelsey R. Gorka both at home; his Brother-in-law, Steve Thumm and his fianc?e Nicole; and many Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces and Cousins.
Family and friends will be received in the H. DAVID McELROY FUNERAL HOME, 803 Main Street, McClellandtown, Pa., today (Tuesday, January 2, 2007) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2007, in the PALMER COMMUNITY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m. Pastor Rory Ruter and the Rev. James Stalnaker will officiate.
Interment will follow in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, Pa.
Visitation was also held on New Year’s Day from 7 to 9 p.m.
