Lawrence Albert Kirkpatrick
Lawrence Albert Kirkpatrick, age 83, of Perryopolis, Pa., died Saturday, January 6, 2007, in his residence with his family by his side. He was born April 14, 1923, in Flatwoods, Franklin Township, Pa., the Son of Wilbur F. Kirkpatrick and Viola Hutchinson Kirkpatrick.
Lawrence was a member of Little Redstone Presbyterian Church, Fayette City, Pa.
He retired from Allied Chemical Company, Newell, Pa., after 41 years as a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his first Wife, Jessie Steel Kirkpatrick, in 1966 and by his Parents.
Surviving are his Wife, Imogene Sechrist Kirkpatrick; two Daughters: Catherine A. English of Belle Vernon, Pa., and Karen Lee Smith and her husband, Gary, of Perryopolis; three Stepdaughters: Darla Burton and her husband, Rich, of Pittsburgh, Pa., Gale Burton and her husband, Steve, of Perryopolis and Debra Yanke and her husband, Ed, of Pittsburgh; two Stepsons: Richard Burton and his wife, Barbara, of Fayette City and James Burton of Perryopolis; 12 Grandchildren; 10 Great-Grandchildren; one Great-Great-Grandchild; one Brother, Authur Kirkpatrick and his wife, Mary, of California state; four Sisters: Lydia Kuhns and her husband, Charles, of Carmichaels, Pa., Virginia Perakovich of Low Hill, Brownsville, Pa., Alma Steiner of Smithton, Pa., and Francis McGowan and her husband, Jack, of Fayette City.
Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME, 334 Main Street, Fayette City, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, January 10, 2007, until 1 p.m., the hour of Service in the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Shepard officiating.
Interment will follow in the Olive Branch Cemetery, Rostraver Township, Pa.
