Crable-Pursglove
Lindsey Pursglove, formerly of Hiller, and Gerald Crable, formerly of Adah, were united in marriage on July 15. The ceremony took place at the Fort Burd United Presbyterian Church in Brownsville, with the Rev. Dr. David R. Clark officiating. The bride is the daughter of David and Cheryl Pursglove of Hiller. Her paternal grandparents are Mary Pursglove of Brownsville and the late C. David Pursglove, and her maternal grandparents are Evelyn Kara of New Castle and the late Robert Kara.
The bridegroom is the son of Gerald and Tammy Crable of Adah. His paternal grandparents are Barbara Crable of Adah and the late Eugene Crable, and his maternal grandparents are Frank and Irene Karlowicz of McClellandtown.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white, strapless, satin A-line gown with an asymmetrical wrap waist and draped panel adorned with a beaded floral design. The train was also adorned with a matching design. She wore a crystal and pearl tiara with a veil ornamented with crystals.
Maid of honor was Katy Pursglove, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jessica Crable, sister of the groom, Lauren Fair-Craig, cousin of the bride, and Ashley Bottorf, Brooke Dolobach, Katie Clark, and Brandi Snyder. Flower girl was Mya Rattay, cousin of the bride.
Best man was Josh Crable, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Anthony Karlowicz, Franco Karlowicz and Chris Rattay, cousins of the groom; Joe Volpe, Archie Graff, and Nathan Seelye. Ring bearer was Jensen DeCarlo, cousin of the bride.
A reception was held at the Hopwood Firemen’s Social Hall.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Brownsville Area High School and a 2006 graduate of West Virginia University with a master’s degree in occupational therapy.
The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Brownsville Area High School and a 2002 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education. He is a social studies teacher at Northern Middle School in Hagerstown, Md., and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in educational administration.
The couple honeymooned at the Walt Disney Resort in Orlando, Fla., and on the Disney Cruise Line.
They are residing in Waynesboro.
