Man charged
Daniel J. Stolz, 26, of Connellsville was charged with public drunkenness following an alleged incident on Friday in the 700 block of South Arch Street. Connellsville police said Stolz faces a preliminary hearing at a later date.

Man faces hearing
Police charged Joseph Leszcynski, 36, of Connellsville Jan. 14 for disorderly conduct following an alleged incident in the 400 block of East Washington Avenue in which he was yelling obscenities at neighborhood children, Connellsville police said. Leszcynski faces a preliminary hearing at a later date.

Theft reported
Connellsville police are investigating a retail theft that was reported Jan. 13 at the Sunoco A Plus. Police said a woman with reddish brown hair, about 5 feet 2 inches tall with a heavy build, stole a pack of cigarettes. The woman left the store in a silver Pontiac car. Anyone with information is asked to call city police at 724-628-2501, ext. 110.

A vehicle registration plate was stolen in the 100 block of Haas Avenue on Jan. 15, Connellsville police said. Anyone with information is asked to call police.

Man charged
Todd A. Monosky, 30, of Connellsville was arrested Jan. 13 and charged with burglary, criminal mischief, theft and receiving stolen property following an alleged incident at Siefert Distributing. Connellsville police alleged Monosky broke a window and stole beer. He was arraigned and released on $10,000 cash bond. He faces a preliminary hearing at a later date.

Timothy King, 21, of Valencia was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct following an incident at the Jefferson Apartments at 3 a.m. Sunday, California police said.

California police said Bryan Matthew Loeffler, 20, of Canonsburg was charged with public drunkenness and underage drinking for an incident on Park Street in California Borough at 12:36 a.m. Jan. 1.
