STG 2 Mark T. VanHorn, United States Navy, age 24, of Mount Pleasant, Pa., died Monday, January 15, 2007, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Melvajo T. Simon and Ike Bennett; daughter, Libby VanHorn of California state; brothers: Frank A. VanHorn Jr. of Greensburg, Pa., and Kurt VanHorn of Mount Pleasant, Pa.; and maternal grandmother, Melva Simon of Mount Pleasant.

Friends will be received at the Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 406 East Washington Avenue, Mount Pleasant, Pa., on Wednesday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, January 25, until 9:30 a.m.
