Agnes Ziots, 86, of Monarch, Pa., died on Tuesday, January 23, 2007. She was born on January 3, 1921, in Fairbank, Pa., a daughter of Frank and Mary (Dvorchak) Ziots.

Her parents and sisters, Catherine Ziots who died in infancy, and Julia Wellington preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memory are her sisters: Ann Saylor of Monarch, Pa., Martha Tretinek of Prospect, Pa.; and a brother, Edward Ziots of Atlanta, Michigan; 11 nieces and nephews; and her caregivers: Hazel Mauk and Nancy Fitzgerald.

Agnes was a member of Saint John Roman Catholic Church in Connellsville.

Agnes graduated from the Fayette School of Commerce and worked for 31 years for Burroughs Corporation, retiring on August 31, 1979. She was an avid golfer and bowler, winning many awards and trophies and also enjoyed tennis.

Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced.
