Andrew Kwasny
Andrew Kwasny, 87, of Erie, Pa., and formerly of Braddock Hills, Pa., died Thursday, January 25, 2007. He was born on September 25, 1919, in Mammoth, Pa.
Mr. Kwasny served with distinction as a Staff Sergeant with the American Forces in Europe during World War II.
He retired as a Service Manager of Bendik Oldsmobile in Wilkinsburg, Pa. with 30 years of service.
He was the beloved husband of the late Sophia Racheck Kwasny.
He is survived by his son, Dr. Andrew Kwasny and wife Sharon of Fairview, Pa.; daughter, Marie Urban and husband Joseph of England; numerous brothers and sisters.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where a prayer service will be held on Saturday at 10:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in Saint James Roman Catholic Church in Labelle, Pa. with the Rev. Father James Petrovsky as celebrant.
Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park.
Full Military Rites will be accorded by American Legion Posts 295, 275, 940, and 838.
A Wake Service will be held this evening at 8 p.m.
