Charolette K. Casteel Hayden

Charolette K. Casteel Hayden, age 61, of Markleysburg, Pa., and formerly of Bruceton Mills, West Virginia, died Thursday, January 25, 2007, at the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa. The daughter of Everett Paul Casteel and Blanche Spiker Casteel, she was born September 1, 1945, in Hazelton, West Virginia.

Charolette was the current President of the Fort Necessity Lions Club and a Board of Director for the Mountain Fellowship Center.

She graduated from Bruceton High School and was employed as a custodian for the Bruceton schools for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd B. Hayden Jr. (Sunday, July 10, 2005) and her parents.

Charolette is survived by a brother, Paul Casteel of Bruceton Mills, West Virginia; four stepchildren: Ruth Ann Schwaboro of Uniontown, Ohio, Betty Mitchell of Addison, Pa., Brenda Doughty of Punxsutawney, Pa., and William Hayden of Markleysburg, Pa.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the CARL R. SPEAR FUNERAL HOME, Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, West Virginia, today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. during which time there will be a presentation by the Fort Necessity Lions Club.

Visitation will continue on Monday, January 29, 2007, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., the time of the Funeral Service with Pastor Barry M. Adkins officiating.

Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery, Bruceton Mills, West Virginia.
