Graduates help WVU

Two West Virginia University College of Business and Economics graduates have established a program that will bring executives to campus and connect students to the world of business through case studies.

Rob and Teresa Eastep have pledged $50,000 to establish the Ann Pushkin Executive-in-Residence Endowment. The gift honors Pushkin, professor of accounting, who taught both Easteps when they were undergraduate students.

In 2005, the Easteps gave a $25,000 gift to the college with a $25,000 match from Saxon Capitol Inc. to establish the Rob and Teresa Eastep Student Leadership Fund.

Rob Eastep is the first executive-in-residence and is taking students through a case study of how they, as “members” of a mortgage company’s board of directors, might make business decisions with millions of dollars on the line.
