Marjorie Joyce Clark Sabo, R.N.
Marjorie Joyce Clark Sabo, R.N., age 77, of Belle Vernon, Pa., died Saturday, January 27, 2007, in Select Specialty Care, Greensburg, Pa. The daughter of James M. “Scotty” Clark and Martha Phillips Clark, she was born in Long Branch, Pa., on January 4, 1930.
Methodist by faith, she had formerly resided in Florida, Long Branch and West Newton, Pa.
She graduated from the Brownsville General Hospital School of Nursing and also the Fairmont School of Anesthesia. For over 30 years, Joyce practiced nursing and later anesthesia in many states.
She had a love for horses and organized many horse shows over the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, William M. Sabo Sr. on December 5, 1997.
Survivors include one step-daughter, Bernadette Zunic of West Newton, Pa.; one step-son and daughter-in-law, William M. and Patty Sabo of Coal Center, Pa.; one brother and sister-in-law, J. Bruce and Mary Lou Clark of Greensburg, Pa.; one niece, Stephanie DiLeo and her husband, Vincent, of Greensburg, Pa.; one nephew, Dr. David B. Clark of Oak Grove, Missouri; three grandchildren: Michael Sabo of Georgetown, Kentucky, Jonathan Sabo and his wife, Julie, of Speers, Pa., and Annette Trenk and her husband, George, of Forward Township, Pa.; and three great-grandsons: Robert Sabo, Joseph Sabo and Jonathan Sabo Jr., (724-929-5300), 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon, PA 15012.
Funeral Services will be in the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. with the Rev. David Zona officiating.
