Virginia Mae “Ginger” Newman Show
Virginia Mae “Ginger” (Newman) Show, age 69, of Bedford, Pennsylvania, died at 6:05 a.m. Sunday, January 28, 2007, at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. Virginia was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, on June 19, 1937, the daughter of John E. Newman and Martha E. (Shaffer) Newman.
On March 30, 1964, she married Samuel Show. He died on September 3, 1988. Virginia was also preceded in death by her parents and by a brother, Harry Newman Sr.
She is survived by her children: Daughter, Diana L., wife of Michael Mickey Sr., Bedford; Daughter, Terri L., wife of Christian DeWitt, Bedford; and Daughter, Martha M., wife of Rami Shomali, North Canton, Ohio; her siblings: Sister, Eleanor Newman McCormick, Rochester, Pa.; Brother, John Newman Jr., Lemont Furnace, Pa.; and Sister, June Manor, Bremerton, West Virginia. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: James Mickey, Michael Mickey Jr., Samuel Mickey Sr., Ambonett Mickey, Ronald Sheirer Jr., Kristin Sheirer, Amara Shomali and Aleah Shomali; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at the LOUIS GEISEL FUNERAL HOME, Russell W. Styer, Supervisor, 330 East Pitt Street, Bedford, PA 15522 (814-623-5319), at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2007, with the Rev. Chester Bowser officiating.
Interment will follow in White Rock Cemetery, Fairchance, Pennsylvania.
Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the LOUIS GEISEL FUNERAL HOME.
