South Union Twp. Gasoline stolen
State police said $26 worth of gasoline was stolen from the Dairy Mart service station on Hopwood-Fairchance Road at 10:24 a.m. Saturday.

Building damaged
The front window and front door of a building on Market Street were damaged between 6 p.m. Friday and 5 p.m. Saturday, state police said, noting that the building is owned by Manor Investments of Monroeville.

Teens cited
State police said Jonathan Bradey, 18, of Brownsville and an unidentified 17-year-old girl were cited for underage drinking while at a party on Ridge Street at 9 p.m. Friday.

Mailbox damaged
State police said vandals damaged a mailbox owned by Daniel Landy of Acme at a residence on Rocky Ridge Road between 2 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

One-car crash
State police said a 17-year-old Uniontown girl and a 16-year-old passenger in her vehicle both were injured when the vehicle crashed into a utility pole on Route 40 at 9:33 p.m. Saturday.

Cars collide
Vehicles driven by Sara Martin and Randy Calhoun, no addresses given, collided on Route 40 at 6 p.m. Jan. 8, state police said. A passenger in Calhoun’s vehicle suffered minor injuries in the crash, police noted.

Vehicle burned
State police said a vehicle that had been reported stolen by William Barnes of Muse was recovered burned on Route 119 at 4 a.m. Jan. 20.

One-car crash
Kandi Gildea of Merrittstown suffered minor injuries when the vehicle she was driving rolled over on Creek Road at 12:10 p.m. Sunday, state police said.

Man cited
Christopher Webb, 24, of Vanderbilt was cited for criminal mischief after he broke a window owned by Shamel James of West Brownsville at a home on Railroad Street in Cardale at 3:46 p.m. Sunday, state police said.

Cars crash
State police said vehicles driven by Sarah Morgan of Accident, Md., and Karen Randolph of New Salem collided on Route 40 near Jackson Farm Road at 3:40 p.m. Sunday. Randolph suffered moderate injuries in the crash and was taken to Uniontown Hospital, police said.

Hit-and-run
Uniontown police said Michael Ostrosky, 21, of Uniontown was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol after a hit-and-run accident in Uniontown involving a vehicle driven by Thomas Thurby of Farmington at 10:38 p.m. Friday.

Charges filed
Police have filed charges against the following individuals in unrelated incidents:
– A 15-year-old female of Connellsville with harassment after she allegedly struck an unidentified female Jan. 25 during an incident in the 300 block of East Crawford Avenue.
– Matthew Neal, 20, of Connellsville with carrying prohibited offensive weapons and disorderly conduct, after police allegedly found him to be in possession of brass knuckles following a Jan. 24 incident in the 800 block of North 9th Street when he allegedly used profanities.
– A 16-year-old and a 15-year-old female, both of Connellsville, with disorderly conduct after they were allegedly involved in a fight Jan. 22 at the Connellsville Area High School.
– Charles Gladney, 31, of Carnegie with harassment after he allegedly struck an unidentified female during a Jan. 21 incident in the 500 block of McCormick Avenue.
– Ronald R. Cunningham Jr., 36, of Connellsville with criminal mischief after he allegedly shattered the windshield of a vehicle during a Jan. 21 incident in the McDonald’s Restaurant drive-thru window.
– Earl Detwiler, 76, of Connellsville with public drunkenness after he was allegedly found intoxicated Jan. 21 in the 100 block of Water Street.
– A 16-year-old female, of Connellsville with underage drinking after she was allegedly found intoxicated Jan. 19 in the 200 block of West Washington Avenue.
– John J. Karpel, 29, of Uniontown with harassment after he allegedly entered the vehicle of an unidentified female and later made two telephone calls to her.

Vehicle accident
State police said Bryan Cain of Brownsville was not injured when the vehicle he was driving allegedly hit an icy patch on Route 40 and crashed into an embankment at 1:45 p.m. Sunday.
Betty Ackinclose of Brownsville, a passenger in Cain’s vehicle, also was not injured, police said.

Purse stolen
Amie Jo Lucosh, 38, of Brownsville told state police at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday that the driver side window of her vehicle was smashed out while the vehicle was parked at 1101 Water St. and that her purse was stolen, police reported.

Attialo M. Cicconi of Brownsville reported scrap metal belonging to him had been stolen from a Water Street location at 8:30 a.m. Monday, state police said.
