Greene man found guilty in drug case

A Greene County jury found William Michael Bizub, 48, of Carmichaels guilty of several drug charges state police filed after executing a search warrant at his home two years ago. Following a half-day trial Monday, Bizub was found guilty of possession, with intent to deliver and delivery of cocaine, Ddistrict Attorney Marjorie J. Fox said.

Sentencing was deferred, pending a pre-sentence investigation.

Police searched Bizub’s home at 734 S. Eighty-eight Road on Dec. 15, 2004, and found cocaine on Bizub and two other men.

Police also seized guns, scales, cash and a box of plastic bags from the home.

Assistant District Attorney Timothy J. Maher prosecuted the case and trooper James Wwicker wqs the investigating officer.
