Mary C. DeLuca
Mary C. DeLuca, 95, of Oregon, Ohio, formerly of Dilliner, Pa., passed away January 30, 2007, in Saint Charles Mercy Hospital, Oregon, Ohio. She was born July 9, 1911, in Pittsburgh, Pa., daughter of the late Manuel Runco and Susan Porco Runco.
Mary and Ralph owned and operated Mary’s Superette in Dilliner for over 50 years.
She was a member of the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church of Saint Ignatius Parish, Greensboro, Pa., and the Altar Rosary Society.
She is survived by one daughter, Amelia Cope and husband, Jerry of Oregon, Ohio; four grandchildren: John and Frank DeLuca, Ralph and David Cope; three great-grandchildren; two sisters: Nancy Hertzig and Dorothy Berkopec and husband, William both of Pittsburgh; two brothers: Billy Runco and wife, Mary Ellen and Donald Runco and wife, Ann both of Pittsburgh.
Deceased are her parents, husband, Ralph DeLuca, two sisters, Rose Pasquale, and Esther Roetter, eight brothers, Albert, Carmen, Eugene, Frank, Joseph, Harry, James, and Victor Runco.
Friends of Mary C. DeLuca will be received in the LESAKO FUNERAL HOME INC., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, Pa., 15320, Paul Lesako supervisor, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
