Robert Ray ‘Butch’ Johnson
Robert Ray ‘Butch’ Johnson, 62, of Markleysburg, Pa., passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2007, in the Kamp’s Personal Care Home. He was born March 22, 1944, in Gibbon Glade, Pa., son of the late Lester Clinton Johnson and Ethel Lucille Beitzel Johnson.
In addition to his parents he is predeceased by a sister, Helen Ruth Livengood.
Surviving are two brothers and two sisters: Howard Lester Johnson of Gibbon Glade, Pauline Ethel Livengood of Farmington, Earl Franklin Johnson of Farmington, and Edith Mae Wood of Crystal Lake, Ill.
Butch was a member of the Canaan Church of the Brethren, he served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He then worked in the Detroit, Mich., area for many years before returning to this area.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME FARMINGTON, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Thursday until 1 p.m., the hour of the service with the Rev. Dale Rexrode officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bethel Cemetery, Farmington.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Canaan Church of the Brethren, Gibbon Glade, Pa., or a favorite charity.
