Elizabeth Ann (Thomas) Molnar, born November 28, 1917, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Tuesday,… Elizabeth Ann (Thomas) Molnar, born November 28, 1917, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, July 3, 2007.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter J. Molnar, Jr. exactly 12 years ago on the same date. She was also preceded in death by her parents, George and Anna (Matthews) Thomas, her sisters, Hazel George, Mary Mosako and brothers, Thomas J. Thomas, Joseph Thomas, Dr. William A. Thomas and an infant son.
“Liz” was a devoted member of the St. George Maronite Church, the Ladies Guild and the Alter Rosary Society.
She was a graduate of Uniontown High School and enjoyed reading and playing contact bridge in her leasure time.
She was a loving mother and sittee to her family.
Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Elizabeth (Betse) Strickler and husband, Jack; the following grandchildren: Joseph J. Strickler and wife, April, Staci M. Strickler and Robert P. Strickler all of Perryopolis, Pa.; a brother, Abraham and Mary Thomas; and sister-in-law, Mrs. Florence Thomas; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, Pa., today until 9:30 a.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. in St. George Maronite Church.
Entombment will follow in Sylvan Heights Mausoleum.
