Cigarettes stolen
State police alleged Joshua Chambers, 18, of Vanderbilt used force to enter the C & F Market on Leisenring Vanderbilt Road and stole 16 packs of cigarettes at 1:35 a.m. Friday. Chambers was interrupted while exiting the store and fled the scene, police said. Police said Chambers was then taken into custody and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Wendy Dennis in connection with the incident.

Machine damaged
Brownsville Police said that someone took two locks off of a pop machine on Water Street, removed the locking device and took an undetermined amount of money as the computer portion of the machine at 8:15 a.m. Saturday.

Man charged
Steven Lee Teets, 33, of Uniontown was charged with harassment after an incident at 11 Race St. at 3:12 a.m. Saturday, city police said.

City police said Donella Durkin, 18, of Uniontown and Kari Durkin, 17, of Uniontown were charged with harassment after an incident at 56 Pershing Court at 1:17 a.m. Saturday.

Vehicle damaged
Norma Jean Sherlock of Uniontown reported to city police that her vehicle was damaged after a red car struck her from behind while she was stopped on Maple Street and Beeson Avenue at 9:47 a.m. Saturday, police said. Police said when Sherlock pulled into a senior center, the car fled traveling south on Beeson Avenue.

City police said there were no injuries when a vehicle owned by Nikki McCargo of Uniontown rolled into a vehicle owned by Otho Martin of Uniontown on Line Street at 11:52 a.m. Friday after McCargo’s 6-year-old son knocked the vehicle out of gear.

City police said a man caught on a video surveillance camera smashed the window at the Exxon gas station on West Main Street and stole cigarettes at 4:48 a.m. Friday. Police said they are further investigating the incident.

Toni Butler of Uniontown reported to city police that between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday someone cut the side of a wading pool in her yard.

City police said charges are pending against an 18-year-old woman after she stole numerous items from Wal-Mart on Matthew Drive at 4:10 p.m. May 11.

One vehicle crashes
State police said a vehicle driven by a female juvenile, name not given, struck a utility pole on Route 40 near Township Drive at 6:53 a.m. Saturday after she fell asleep. Police said the driver was wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured.

Money stolen
Deborah Spaw of Uniontown reported to state police that someone removed $95 from her purse from a Bon-Ton dressing room at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday, state police said.

Vehicles crash
State police said there were no injuries when vehicles driven by Henry Nicholson of Mill Run and Elizabeth Gootz collided at Moyer Road at Route 119 at 3:20 p.m. Thursday. There was minor damage to Nicholson’s vehicle and disabling damage to Gootz’s vehicle, police said.

Mailbox stolen
David Rugg of Connellsville told state police that someone stole his white, steel mailbox from his residence on Hyndman Street between 12 p.m. Wednesday and 6:30 a.m. Thursday.
