Lynn’s Dairy Queen on Route 819 was broken into between 11:30 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday, state police said. Police ask anyone with information about the break-in to call the barracks at 724-832-3288.

One charged

Gasoline stolen
State police said an undetermined amount of gasoline owned by the Exxon service station on Route 51 was stolen at 7:39 p.m. Monday.
In another incident report, state police said $20 worth of gasoline was stolen from the Exxon service station on Route 51 at 5:11 p.m. Tuesday.

Car damaged
Tammy Al-Balawi of Uniontown told state police that vandals damaged her vehicle while it was parked on Duck Hollow Road at 3 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

Boy injured
State police said an unidentified boy suffered moderate injures when he crashed his all-terrain vehicle on Morgan Station Road at 5:38 p.m. Wednesday. Police said the boy allegedly lost control of the ATV while rounding a curve and struck a guardrail, causing the ATV to overturn. According to police, the boy was thrown from the ATV and landed on the road. He was taken to UPMC-Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh for medical treatment, police said.

Residences damaged
State police said two Little Summit Road residences owned by Shawn DeWitt and Richard Smiley were vandalized between 9 p.m. July 10 and 9 a.m. July 11. Police said windows in both residences were damaged.

Copper, items stolen
State police said several copper pipe fittings, numerous power tools, a generator and other items were stolen from trailers at the Wal-Mart construction site on Matthew Drive between 2:30 and 3 a.m. Wednesday. Police said the suspects were driving a light-colored, possibly two-toned, full-size extended pickup truck with running boards and spotlights on the roof of the vehicle. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call trooper Scott Krofcheck at the state police barracks in Uniontown at 724-439-7111.

Speakers stolen
James Fisher of Adah told police two 12-inch speakers and an amplifier were stolen from the back of his Chevrolet Blazer while the vehicle was parked on Palmer Road between 2:30 and 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, state police said.

Robert Grimm of Vanderbilt told police an all-terrain vehicle was stolen from a location on First Street between 5 and 8 p.m. Wednesday, state police reported.

State police said a fence surrounding a large trash container in the Dairy Queen parking lot on Connellsville Street was damaged after being set on fire at 11:58 p.m. Wednesday. The incident is under investigation, police said.
