Richard and Laura Peters of Workman Road, Farmington, announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Joyce Peters, to Jarrett William Bond of Dixon Boulevard, Uniontown. The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Uniontown Area High School and a 2006 nursing program graduate of Penn State Fayette. She is a registered nurse in the emergency room at Uniontown Hospital.

Her fiance is the son of Linda Haynes of Cycle Avenue, Uniontown, and the late William Bond.

He is a 2004 graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and a 2006 graduate of Fayette Institute of Technology. He is a chiropractic technician at the Uniontown Chiropractic Center.

A wedding for May 18 is planned.
