Five sentenced on drug charges in Greene court
Five people were sentenced Monday in Greene County Court for their roles in various drug cases, including a man charged with possession of 84 pounds of marijuana. John Russell Zaccone, 54, of Sycamore will serve 21/2 to five years in state prison for manufacturing marijuana at his shared home with Donna Jean Vehar. Under a plea agreement, Vehar, 46, was sentenced to two years of probation for charges associated with the sale of the marijuana in July 2006.
