Rolling Thunder chapter to sell corn at event
Rolling Thunder Chapter Five of Fayette County again will be selling corn on the cob at the Fayette County Fair. Rolling Thunder is a nonprofit organization made up of motorcyclists. Their main goal is to bring attention to POW/MIA issues.
As it has in past years, the Rolling Thunder booth will be located on the main drag at the fairgrounds. All proceeds from the sale of corn benefit local veterans.
Freshly picked, the corn is brought to the fairgrounds by Rolling Thunder members where it is cleaned, cooked and soaked in butter. Duda’s Farm and Hartsek’s Catering donate the corn and butter, respectively.
