NEWELL UNITED METH-ODIST CHURCH will hold a strawberry festival from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for children. Hot dogs, kraut and hamburgers will also be sold. THIRD PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 425 Union St., Uniontown, will hold a strawberry festival today from 3 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $3 and includes cake, ice cream, berries and beverage. Tickets for children under age 8 are $1.50. Sloppy Joes and hot dogs will also be sold. Take-out orders will be available. Proceeds benefit the teen summer programs.

FREDERICKTOWN UNITED METHODIST CHURCH will hold a rummage sale and flea market Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

AMVETS POST 103, Ladies Auxiliary, will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the post home, Hopwood.

GOLDEN AGERS OF UNIONTOWN will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Christ United Methodist Church for a covered-dish luncheon. Members are asked to bring items for bingo.

JEFFERSON CATHOLIC CLUB, St. John the Evangelist Church, Uniontown, will hold its annual banquet on Wednesday at the Pleasant Valley Country Club beginning at 6 p.m. All active and inactive members are invited to attend. Contact Maureen Lulich for reservations.

SS. CYRIL AND METHODIUS CHURCH, Fairchance, Youth Group will hold an indoor flea market from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday in the parish hall.
