Agnes Theresa (Unice) Mauser, 89, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 3, 2007, in the Uniontown Hospital,… Agnes Theresa (Unice) Mauser, 89, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 3, 2007, in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa.

She was born December 28, 1917, in Welch, West Virginia, the daughter of the late George Unice Sr. and Helena Gabriel Unice.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William R. Mauser, Sr., on March 14, 2004, her sisters, Mary Rozgony, Catherine Miller and Ann Burnworth and her brothers, Joseph Unice, George Unice and Tom Unice.

Agnes was a member of Saint George Maronite Catholic Church and The Ladies Guild.

She volunteered at Saint Vincent DePaul and worked for many years at the former Kaufmann Store in downtown Uniontown.

Agnes was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her loving and devoted children: William R. Mauser, Jr. and wife, Mary Susan of Slidell, Louisiana, Darrell E. Mauser and wife, Sherriann of Canonsburg, Pa., and Cynthia R. Grohal and husband, Kenneth of Uniontown; her grandchildren whom she adored: Melissa R. Haley and husband, Dr. Michael Haley, Mehgan Noblett and husband, Chris, Jason Mauser and wife, Tracy, Christopher Mauser and wife, Debbi, Jeffrey Mauser and wife, Shannon, Amanda Mauser, Kristi Vaughan and husband, Christopher, Erica Grohal and Ashley Grohal. Agnes is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Marigny Haley, Christian Noblett, Chloe Noblett, Campbell Noblett, Zakhary Mauser, Landon Mauser, Kaylee Mauser, Ethan Mauser, Evan Mauser and Colton Mauser; her loving sister: Rose Ferris; several loving nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and neighbors.

Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., today, June 6, 2007, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, June 7, 2007, until 9:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint George Maronite Roman Catholic Church at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Father Joseph David as Celebrant. Interment follows in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.

Parish Rosary will be said this afternoon at 4 p.m. and Ghinnaz Service will be held at 8 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
