Jefferson Twp. Woman assaulted
Raymond Drake, 22, of Uniontown was charged with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly assaulted Patricia Kiger, 39, of Grindstone. According to police, Drake allegedly slammed Kiger’s head off a wall inside her East Second Street residence at 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Drake and 18-year-old Thomas Drake of Uniontown were also cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct, according to the police report.

Woman charged
Shanna Spence, 19, of Brownsville was charged with harassment after she allegedly punched Carla Holcomb, 47, of Brownsville in the face during a verbal altercation over car keys on Old National Pike Road at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, state police said.

State police said that the home of James Tartal of Van Drive, Connellsville, was broken into around 9 p.m. Tuesday.

State police said someone broke into the Coolspring Street office of the Private Industry Council around 10:47 p.m. Tuesday.

Man cited
John Henry Ansell, 55, of Leisenring was cited for criminal trespass and harassment after he allegedly entered the home of Brad Alan Dillinger, 32, of Connellsville through an unlocked front door around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, said state police. Police indicated the men had a fight before Dillinger escorted Ansell from his West Crawford Avenue home.

Windows broken
Robert John Martin, 59, of Greensburg told state police at Greensburg that the windows of his car, parked at Wolf’s Garage on Route 985, were broken between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning, police said.

Crash reported
Mary Kathleen Sopko of Belle Vernon sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Flatwoods Road around 4:50 p.m. Wednesday, said state police in Belle Vernon. Todd Allen Johnson of Vanderbilt was the driver of the other vehicle involved in the accident, and he was uninjured, police said.

Crash reported
State police in Belle Vernon said Sarah Burinski of Belle Vernon was not injured when she lost control of her car on Rehobath Church Road, hit a hillside and rolled her vehicle. The crash occurred around 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Charges filed
Police have filed charges against the following individuals in unrelated incidents:
– Richard T. Shultz, 30, of Monongahela with retail theft after he allegedly failed to pay for gasoline at the Shop ‘n Save Express on Feb. 15.
– Jamie L. Custer, 26, of Lemont Furnace with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after she allegedly took a vehicle from an East Francis Avenue residence without permission and failed to return it to its rightful owner during a Feb. 19 incident.
Custer was also charged with theft and receiving stolen property after she allegedly stole money lying on a bar at the Arch Caf? on Feb. 20.
– Keith E. Ober, 19, of Connellsville with harassment after he allegedly struck an unidentified female during a Feb. 19 incident in the 600 block of South Pittsburgh Street.
– Jason S. Clark, 32, of Connellsville with theft and receiving stolen property after he allegedly stole a ring from a North Pittsburgh Street residence and then pawned it on Feb. 20.
– Zachary Brown, 21, of Connellsville with trespassing after he allegedly entered North Manor housing complex on Feb. 21. Police said that Brown is restricted from entering the property.
– Steven D. Thurmond, 25, of Connellsville with harassment, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after he allegedly struck an unidentified female and was found intoxicated and causing a disturbance Feb. 22 in the 200 block of South Prospect Street.
– Steven A. Earnesty, 18, of Connellsville for underage drinking after he was allegedly found intoxicated in Stahl Square on Feb. 24.

License plate stolen
Uniontown police said William J. Gaydos of Madison Avenue reported at 8:30 a.m. Thursday that his Pennsylvania registration plate, FLR-9063, was stolen from his car while it was parked on the street at his home.

Apartment burgled
Uniontown police said Deja Dennis reported at 11 a.m. Thursday that her 80 Pershing Court apartment was broken into, ransacked and an undetermined amount of money was stolen.

Purse taken
Police are investigating the theft of a purse on Feb. 18 from the Sidewinder Bar. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-628-2501, ext. 156.
