Edna Guthrie
Edna Guthrie, 54, of Smithfield, Pa., died after an extended illness with her family by her side on Tuesday, February 27, 2007, in Magee Womens Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born July 23, 1952, in Uniontown, Pa., daughter of the late Jacob Hartman and Ethel Rankin Hartman.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Jesse Hartman.
Edna was the beloved wife of her husband of 31 years, Earl ‘Punk’ Guthrie III; beloved mother of her two children: Earl Christopher Guthrie and fiancÇ, Lori Jean Russell of Markleysburg, Pa., and Stephanie Ann Guthrie of Smithfield, Pa.; beloved sister of Cliff and Betty Hartman of Smithfield, Pa., Elizabeth and Marlyn Coffman of Litiz, Pa., Harold ‘Pooch’ and Mary Hartman of Smithfield, Pa., Dora Jane and Rev. John Moser of McClellandtown, Pa., Frederick Harshman of Uniontown, Pa., Irene DeBerry of Uniontown, Pa., and William Hartman of Masontown, Pa. Also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Carl and Alice Guthrie of Smithfield, Pa., Sharon and Kerry Whoolery of Fairchance, Pa., Gerald Guthrie of Smithfield, Pa., Roger and Janet Guthrie of Vanderbilt, Pa., John and Danielle Guthrie of Masontown, Pa., and Donna Jean Hartman of Smithfield, Pa.; father and mother-in-law, Earl and Lois Stillwagon Guthrie of Smithfield, Pa., and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today, March 2, 2007, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with Rev. Roger Ice officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pa.
