Robert F. Crouse
Robert F. Crouse, “Tony”, 72, of Mooresville, Indiana, formerly of Rogersville, Pa., died February 22, 2007. Born November 12, 1934, in Rogersville, Pa., the son of the late A.F. “Tony” Crouse and Clydia (Elliott) Crouse.
On February 11, 1961, he married Carolyn M. Chaney who is deceased.
Robert graduated from Center Township High School in 1953 and worked at Indiana Boys School for 35 years as a Correction Officer retired as a Captain. He received the highest award from the Governor (Sagamore of the Wabash Award) for Distinguished Service to the State.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by a sister, Joanna R. Waters.
Surviving are a daughter, Robin D. Crouse; two granddaughters; a sister, Rosalie Sue Philips of Jacksonville, Florida; and a long time companion, Dee Ann Barnette.
Services were held on Tuesday, February 27, in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield, Indiana and visitation was held in the HAMPTON-GENTRY FUNERAL HOME, PLAINFIELD, on Monday February 26, 2007, from 4 to 8 p.m.
