Margaret H. ‘Peg’ Silbaugh Smell
Margaret H. “Peg” (Silbaugh) Smell, age 90, of Farmington, Pa., passed away Friday, March 2, 2007, in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa. She was born June 26, 1916, in Perryopolis, Pa., the daughter of David A. Silbaugh and Ada (Wilson) Silbaugh.
“Peg” was a member of the Dawson Baptist Church and was the last surviving member of her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank R. Smell, two sisters, Ruth Tharp and Sarah Harbaugh, four brothers, Fred Silbaugh, George Silbaugh, Harry Silbaugh and Robert Silbaugh, and parents.
Surviving are a special friend, Charles Sherry and family; numerous nieces and nephews; and other close friends.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON, Pa., today (Sunday, March 4) until 2 p.m., the hour of the Funeral Service with the Rev. Dale Rexrode officiating.
Interment will follow in Bethel Memorial Cemetery, Farmington.
Visitation was also held Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
