Highlands offers programs Highlands Hospital in Connellsville will hold the following programs in March:
– 5:30 p.m. Thursday and March 22 and 29, Diabetes Self-Management Classes in the Learning Center. Call Pat McKissock, R.N., at 724-626-2216.
– 7 p.m. today, Reach for Recovery Breast Support Group meeting in the Learning Center. Call Donna Welsh at 724-628-5173.
– 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Wednesday the hospital auxiliary will hold its annual luncheon/fashion show at the Pleasant Valley Country Club, where winners will be drawn for baskets from the sale held throughout February at Highlands Hospital. Tickets for the luncheon can be purchased at the hospital. Luncheon tickets are available at a cost. Proceeds from the event will benefit Highlands Hospital.
– 7 p.m. March 14, Diabetes Support Group in the Dining Room. The topic will be heart disease sponsored by Novo Nordisk Inc. Refreshments will be served. For information, call McKissock at 724-626-2216.
– 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 21 and 23, AARP Safe Driving Classes will be held in the Dining Room. There is a cost, which can be paid at the class. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 724-626-2430. Participants must attend both days in order to receive insurance discount.
– March 20-22, American Cancer Society Daffodil Sale. Items will include a Boyd’s Bear and a bunch of daffodils; an engraved glass vase and daffodils; a bunch of daffodils; and chocolate daffodil lollipops.
