Suspect sought

State police are searching for a man who assaulted and robbed Mark Pavlack of Ruffsdale at Pavlack’s residence on Clearview Drive between 3 and 4 a.m. Monday. Police said Pavlack arrived at his home where the suspect was waiting. Police said the gunman led Pavlack inside the home and struck him multiple times in the head as he searched the residence for money. Police said the suspect then handcuffed Pavlack’s hands and feet but Pavlack was able to retrieve a handgun from inside his home and fire several rounds at the intruder before he fled the scene in Pavlack’s H2 Hummer. Police said it is possible the man was struck by one of the bullets fired by Pavlack. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-929-6262.
