Josephine M. Bodnar
Josephine M. Bodnar, of Uniontown, Pa., died Wednesday, March 7, 2007. She was born June 14, 1914, in Nellie, Pa., a daughter of Marko and Magdalene (Markusic) Bezak.
Her parents, husband, John Bodnar, daughter, Barbara (Bodnar) Solesky, daughter-in-law, Betty Bodnar, sisters, Mary Bezak Lucas, Anna M. (Bezak) Ferencak, brothers, John, Frank, Emery and Charles Bezak, preceded her in death.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: John Bodnar of Perryopolis, James Bodnar and his wife, Paula of Uniontown; son-in-law, Paul Solesky of Lemont Furnace; grandchildren: Karen McPhaul and her husband, Chris, Dr. Brian Bodnar, Dr. Jason Bodnar and his wife, Jennifer, Dr. Jamie Drowley and her husband, Major Michael Drowley, Mark and Craig Solesky; great-grandchildren: Tommy, Mollie, and Grace McPhaul, Jacob and Joshua Drowley; and a sister, Barbara Bacinsky.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., on Friday, March 9, 2007, from 2 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday until 9:15 a.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m., in Saint Mary’s (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, with Rev. Father Micah E. Kozoil as Celebrant.
A Parish Wake Service will be held on Friday at 2:30 p.m.
Interment will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
