Svea Elizabeth (Renstrom) Clark, 90, a long-time resident of Point Marion, Pa., died Thursday, March 8, 2007, in the Point Manor North Personal Care Home, Uniontown. Born in Fayette City, Pa., on December 1, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Albert M. and Garnet (Smith) Renstrom.

A member of the Point Marion United Methodist Church, the Golden Pointers Senior Citizens, and the V.F.W. Post 747 Ladies Auxiliary, she was well known in the Point Marion area for her seamstress work and knitting.

Left to cherish her memory are her three granddaughters: April L. Clemmer Sheninger and Shai L. Clemmer McGowan and husband Erol, all of State College, Pa., and Gai L. Clemmer of Owosso, Michigan; a son-in-law, William B. Clemmer of Point Marion and his fianc? Patricia Ann Hays; and one great-grandson, Zachary McGowan, of State College.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Burdell Clark in 1976, daughter, Verna L. Clark Clemmer in 2003, two brothers, Albert and Theodore Renstrom, and three sisters, Sara Trenton, Christina Greer, and Betty Lycette.

Friends will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, Pa., on Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m., and Monday until 3:30 p.m., the hour of Service, with the Rev. Scott Teets and the Rev. Karen Gray officiating. Private interment will take place beside her husband in the Little Arlington Section of Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion.
