Janis Sue Johnston
Janis Sue Johnston, 67 years, of Ohio, the beloved wife of the late Charles W. Johnston, died Friday, March 9, 2007. She was born August 18, 1939, in Wheeling, West Virginia, daughter of the late Margie Step.
Janis is survived by her daughter, Brenda Whicker and her husband, Michael, with grandchildren Crystal, Michael and Randall; her son, Ernest Johnston and his wife, Rose, with grandchildren Melissa, Katie and Eric with great-grandson, Jaylen Anthony; and her daughter, Connie Sue Johnston.
Janis was a dedicated wife and loving mother.
While relocating to and from Pennsylvania, Janis shared smiles and tears with friends and family making impressions lasting beyond her years.
Janis will be solely missed by many and always remembered in our hearts and minds.
The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today (Monday, March 12, 2007) from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Services begin at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Donald E. Walls officiating.
Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Georges Township, Pa.
