Dorothy Opaline Mohnacky Wrona
Dorothy Opaline Mohnacky Wrona, 81, of Uniontown passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2007, in the Hillside Manor. She was born February 24, 1926, in Wyano, Pa., the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Blasko Mohnacky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bruno Wrona and her brother, Bartholomew Mohnacky.
Dorothy was a member of Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Old Walnut Hill Road, a charter member of the Christian Mothers and an avid bowler.
Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her life. She was known as an “old fashioned” mom and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her family.
She is survived by her loving and devoted children: David L. Wrona and wife, Cindy of Uniontown, Gerald Wrona of Uniontown, Timothy Wrona and wife, Jeanine of Uniontown; her grandchildren whom she cherished: Rhonda Marie Krofcheck and husband, Scott, David L. Wrona II and wife, Joy, Christy M. Hopkins and husband, Eric, Jason P. Wrona, Adrienne L. Wrona and Philip B. Wrona. Dorothy is also survived by her loving great-grandchildren: Taylor M. Wrona, David L. Wrona III, Nicholas J. Wrona, Nadia M. Krofcheck and Cayleigh A. Hopkins; her sister, Catherine Guy of Fairchance and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., on Thursday, March 15, 2007, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Friday morning, March 16, 2007, until 9 a.m., when a Blessing Service will be held followed by a 9:30 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church.
Interment follows in Mount Macrina Cemetery.
Thursday, March 15, 2007, Saint Joseph’s Christian Mothers will recite the Rosary at 3 p.m., and Saint Joseph Parish Family Vigil Service by the Ministries of Consolation will be held at 3:15 p.m.
