State police said vehicles driven by Helen Hixon of New Geneva and Maurice Jackson of McClellandtown collided in a parking lot in South Union Township at 1:10 p.m. March 3. Police said Jackson and two passengers in his vehicle suffered minor injuries.

Brian Florkevich, 23, of Uniontown was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on Lincoln Street at 4 a.m. Sunday, state police said.

Man faces charges

State police said David Lisauckis, 21, of Smithfield was charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after he ran onto Route 119 in front of a state police cruiser, causing the trooper to swerve off the road. Lisauckis then began to scream at the car and attempted to kick it at 12:05 a.m. Sunday, police alleged.

State police took a 45-year-old man who was not identified to a hospital for mental evaluation after he was caught throwing rocks from an overpass on Route 21 in Franklin Township at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday, police said. The man also threw rocks at police officers and threatened to jump from the overpass, police said.

Vehicle damaged

James Wilson of Uniontown told state police that vandals damaged the roof of his pickup truck by jumping up and down on it while the truck was parked on Reppert Boulevard at 4 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

Gary Bittinger of Uniontown was charged before Magisterial District Judge Randy Abraham this week with theft after an incident in Smithfield in February, according to Abraham’s office.

State police are searching for Jessie Dawn McQueen, 20, of Monongahela Township after she was reported missing Monday. McQueen is described as a white woman, about 5 feet 8 inches tall with brown hair and blue eyes, police said. Anyone with information regarding McQueen’s whereabouts is asked to call the state police at 74-627-6151.

State police said a small amount of marijuana as well as drug paraphernalia was found in a car driven by an Adah man during a routine traffic stop on Route 21 at 8:50 a.m. Wednesday.
