Chard Clinton ‘Bud’ Harrison
Chard Clinton ‘Bud’ Harrison, 74, of Uniontown, Pa., died Wednesday, March 14, 2007, in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born June 22, 1932, in Lambert, Pa., the son of the late James H. Harrison and Mary Melich Harrison.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, William Harrison, and three sisters, Charmaine Maddux, Pricilla Marie Gilbert, and Charlotte Harrison.
Bud graduated from German Township High School. He served for three years with the 82nd Airborne during the Korean Conflict. Bud worked in the Texas oil fields and at Park Drop Forge in Cleveland.
Bud is survived by a son, Bart Harrison of Pittsburgh; three daughters: Debbie Niami of Tonawanda, N.Y., and Lori Harrison and Mary Harrison both of Greensburg; four grandchildren; his brother, John Harrison and his wife, Patricia of Cleveland, Ohio; sisters: Cheryl Goff and Donna Harrison both of Baltimore, Md., Vicki Magliano of Sarasota Fla., and Carloda Miracle and her husband, Archie of Uniontown.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 80 Morgantown Street in Uniontown where the family will receive friends in the funeral home on Saturday, March 17, 2007, from 4 until 6 p.m. A service celebrating his life will follow at 6 p.m., with the Rev. Father Howard officiating.General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 of Hopwood will afford military rites after the service.
