David G. Black
David G. “DB” Black, age 60, of Scottdale, Pa., amateur ham operator “K3YX”, who served the Pennsylvania National Guard 28th Division 110th Battalion, and graduated from the Pittsburgh Electronic Technical School, passed away at 5:15 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2007, in UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh, Pa.
He is survived by his wife whom he married March 6, 1977, Virginia Lee “Ginny” Ridenour Black; son, Kevin Lee Black; sisters: Marilyn Sebeck and her husband, Joseph, of Florida and Rebecca Black of Scottdale, Pa.; brothers: Dean Black of Florida and Daniel Powers and his wife, Melissa, of Mount Pleasant, Pa.; his mother-in-law, Virginia Ridenour of Scottdale, Pa.; sister-in-law, Linda Young and her husband, Michael, of Katy, Texas; aunt, Anna Jane Walker and her son, Dale Walker, of Mount Pleasant, Pa.; nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Robert B. Ferguson Funeral Home, 105 Spring Street, Scottdale, Pa., today from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, March 20, until 11 a.m.
