1 min read

Dorothy Louise Pascale of Brownsville and Stanley Oliver Jr. of Republic were united in marriage at the Greene Valley Church of God in Carmichaels. The Rev. Bill Williams heard the exchange of marriage vows on June 8.

The bride is the daughter of Dorothy J. Stafford Pascale of Mechanicsburg and Francis D. Pascale Jr. of Brownsville. The bridegroom is the son of Althea Mae Oliver of Republic and the late Stanley Oliver Sr.

Given in marriage by the couple’s son, Jared R. Oliver, the bride wore a classic white bridal dress. A tiara adorned with pearls and miniature satin flowers held a two-tier cathedral-length veil.

Tina M. Gaydos, cousin of the bride, was matron of honor. Breanna M. Oliver, daughter of the couple, was maid of honor and flower girl.

Jared R. Oliver also served as best man.

A dinner reception was held at the church hall following the ceremony.

The new Mrs. Oliver is a homemaker. The bridegroom is employed as a steelworker.

They are living in Hiller.
