Roy Eugene Haines
Roy Eugene Haines, 75 years, of Akron, Ohio, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007, in Summa Hospital, Akron. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward Haines and Helen Hickle Haines, brothers, Paul, Wilbur, Howard and Wade Haines, and sisters, Winifred Cooley and Ethel Firestone.
Surviving are his two children: Roy Kelley and his wife Debbie, Markleysburg, Pa., and Valerie Oaks Haines, Akron, Ohio; five grandchildren including Sgt. Jason Kelly, United States Army; seven great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers: Arlene Swaney and her husband Duane, Fairchance, Pa., Floyd Haines and his wife Helen, Smithfield, Pa., John Haines and his companion Helen, Smithfield, Pa., Arnold Haines and his wife Barb, Fairchance, Pa., and Vergie Haines, Uniontown, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 19, 2007, at 11 a.m. in the ADAMS-MASON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 791 East Market Street, Akron, OH 44305 (330-535-9186).
Friends may call one hour prior to the Funeral Service at the Funeral Home.
Interment will follow with Military Rites at graveside.
