Yvonne M. Hagar Hopwood
Yvonne M. Hagar Hopwood, age 80, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Saturday, March 17, 2007, at the home of her daughter. She was born March 25, 1926, in Shady Grove, North Union Township, Fayette County, Pa., the daughter of Zelda Matthews Hagar of Shady Grove and the late Robert W. Hagar.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Colleen Fortugna and her husband, John, of Uniontown, Pa.; three special nieces: Rebecca Maddas, Brandi Klink and Samantha Klink all of Uniontown; one brother, Robert “Bounce” Hager and his wife, Mona Ruth, of Port Orange, Florida; two sisters: Jacqueline Stronko and her husband, Dave, of Coolspring, Pa., and Jill Hagar of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; these nieces and nephews: Marsha Marva, Jeff Maddas, Lisa Quarrick, Albert Douglas Maddas, Robbie Hager and Mona “Sissy” Fornila; also several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, March 20, until 11 a.m., the hour of the Service with Pastor Roger Yeager officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.
